Wheelock Offers Job Tasting Experience to Students for 9th Consecutive Year
Wheelock Properties has supported the Project WeCan Job Tasting Programme for the 9th consecutive year, and this year provided 2 students from Ng Yuk Secondary School with a two-week summer internship opportunity. Students were assigned to Market Development and Design departments of Wheelock Properties according to their preferences. During the internship, students can experience the real working environment with the guidance of their supervisors, understand their strengths and weaknesses as well as explore their career interests.
A Job Tasting Completion Ceremony held on 12 August was hosted by Mr Ricky Wong, Managing Director of Wheelock Properties, to praise the students for their effort and completion of the job tasting. The students also made English presentations to principal, teachers, their supervisors and volunteers of Wheelock to share their gains and feelings.
