Wheelock Holds the Job Tasting Programme for the 7th Consecutive Year
Wheelock Properties held the Project WeCan - Job Tasting Programme for the 7th year consecutive year. Wheelock has offered 4 weeks summer internship opportunities for 6 students from Ng Yuk Secondary School, Fung Kai No.1 Secondary School, Buddhist Mau Fung Memorial College, Hong Kong Weaving Mills Association Chu Shek Lun Secondary School and Man Kiu College. Students were assigned to Project Marketing, Market Development and Project Design of Wheelock Properties and Banking and IR of Wheelock and Company. This programme helps them to have basic concepts for a corporate’s operations, the working and communication skills required for their job, and gain valuable extracurricular experiences.
A Job Tasting Completion Ceremony held on 23 August was hosted by Mr Stewart Leung, Chairman of Wheelock Properties, to praise the students for their completion of the job tasting. Principal and teachers of Ng Yuk Secondary School, senior management and staff of Wheelock Group attended the ceremony to support and share the happiness with the students.
