Wheelock Offers Job Tasting Experience to Students for 12th Consecutive Year
Wheelock has supported the Project WeCan Job Tasting Programme for 12 consecutive years. This summer, 3 students from Ng Yuk Secondary School had the invaluable opportunity to join Wheelock Home and gained real-life work experience for 4-weeks.
They were placed across Project Marketing teams and Club Wheelock, and contributed to event planning, market analysis, marketing promotion, property launch, etc. They made full use of the valuable learning opportunity during these 4 weeks to open their eyes in job market, enhanced their office etiquette and skills.
During the last working day, students shared what they had learnt and their feelings to senior management and staffs of Wheelock, Principal and teachers in English. They also expressed their heartfelt thanks to their mentors who guided them throughout the internship journey. It was great to see the students grow in confidence and gain valuable extracurricular experiences through the programme.
