Young Innovators Bazaar 2024
The Young Innovators Bazaar this year reached its momentous 10th Anniversary which taken place at Plaza Hollywood from 22-24 March 2024, with 60 schools participating. It was honoured to have The Hon CHEUK Wing Hing, GBS, JP, Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration, as Guest of Honour to join the Kick-Off Ceremony on 22 March 2024.
Students from our Project WeCan partner school, Ng Yuk Secondary School, joined the bazaar and learnt leadership, entrepreneurship, communication, marketing and sales outside the classroom setting. The school collected unused small items such as wood plates, scissors, tape dispenser from us, parents, and other organisations. Students used their creativity to do colour painting on the products to promote upcycling. Other participating schools sold a variety of products like leather tag for luggage, candle, lamps, passport card holder, travel bags, DIY accessories, etc.
Mr. Ricky Wong, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Wheelock Properties, sponsored approximately 30 students and teachers of Fresh Fish Trader’s Primary School to visit the bazaar and went shopping around the bazaar for their favorite products.
