Reduce Carbon Footprints with Flower Recycling

As the green ambassadors of Hong Kong Flower Show, Wheelock volunteers participated in the first Green Recycling Day launched by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and the Environmental Protection Department (EPD). Advocating the '3R' concept (reduce, reuse and recycle) and relieving the pressure on landfills, volunteers assisted in the recycling of flowers and potting soil, and facilitated the distribution of reusable plants to the public, schools and NGOs.
