Job Tasting Programme Presentation Ceremony 2017
A joint-school Job Tasting Programme Presentation Ceremony 2017 is held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong on 13 Sept to admire the students’ completion of the job tasting programme. On the event day, Mr. Stephen Ng Tin-hoi, Chairman, Project WeCan Committee, presented welcome remarks. Dr. the Hon Law Chi-kwong, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, presented a speech and certificates to the students who completed the job tasting programme.
Wheelock Properties attended and support the ceremony with Project WeCan partner school, Ng Yuk Secondary School. Since Job Tasting Programme launch in 2012, 29 companies and organisations have kindly offered Job Tasting opportunities. Near 700 students from 33 WeCan schools completed the programme and significantly broadened their professional experience. With the support of corporate partners, the programme has been enriched with more openings of a more diverse nature.
