Wheelock handovers enbloc East Office Tower and East Retail Villa of full seaview One HarbourGate to Cheung Kei Group

Hong Kong – Wheelock Properties Limited (WPL) and Cheung Kei Group hold a handover ceremony today for East Office Tower and East Retail Villa at One HarbourGate.

 

East Office Tower and East Retail Villa of One HarbourGate is named Cheung Kei Center Tower A and Tower B. Cheung Kei Group acquired the premises as their headquarter and for long term investment given its confidence in Hong Kong’s economic outlook. This transaction will further enhance Hong Kong’s status as an international financial and business centre.

 

Developed by Wheelock Properties, One HarbourGate comprises two grade-A full seaview office towers and two retail villas. It is perfectly located in a premier commercial hub with superb transportation network, it takes only 6-min walk to Whampoa MTR station. Situated along the world-renowned waterfront, One HarbourGate enjoys the panoramic seaview of Victoria Harbour.

 

Cheung Kei acquired enbloc East Office Tower and East Retail Villa for HK$4.5 billion in July 2016.  The East Office Tower offers 15-storey, totaling approximately 254,000 square feet gross area, and the 2-storey East Retail Villa has a gross area of approximately 26,000 square feet. One HarbourGate enbloc West Tower and West Retail Villa were sold to China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited at HK$5.85 billion in November 2015 and was handover to China Life (Overseas).
