One Bay East – grade-A commercial development by Wheelock Properties en-bloc West Tower sells at HK$4.5 billion a new record in Kowloon Market

One Bay East at 83 Hoi Bun Road, Kowloon East is a new premium grade-A commercial development by Wheelock Properties Limited (WPL), following the success of One Island South at Heung Yip Road, Aberdeen and One Midtown in Tsuen Wan.

One Bay East is a twin tower grade-A office development with a total gross floor area of 1,025,000 sq ft. The West Tower with an approximately 512,000 sq ft floor area is acquired by Manulife (International) Limited to serve as the headquarters for their Hong Kong operation. The development is expected to be complete by the end of 2015. WPL intends to keep the East Tower for both enbloc and strata-title sale primarily on a whole-floor basis when the project is closer to its completion.
