Wheelock Offers Job Tasting Experience to Students for 11th Consecutive Year
Wheelock has supported the Project WeCan Job Tasting Programme for 11 consecutive years. This year, 5 students from Ng Yuk Secondary School, Ko Lui Secondary School and Fung Kai No.1 Secondary School gained this valuable opportunity and were placed across Project Marketing Department, Club Wheelock, Method & System and Group Accounts Department to gain real-life work experience for 2-weeks. The programme not only enhanced students’ practical skills, but also provided an opportunity for them to gain exposure and boost their confidence.
During the last working day, students shared what they had learnt and their feelings to senior management and staffs of Wheelock, Principal and teachers from their schools in English. They also expressed their heartfelt thanks to their mentors who guided them throughout the internship journey. It was great to see the students grow and gain valuable extracurricular experiences through the programme.
