“A Special Journey” Microfilm
Mr. Ricky Wong, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Wheelock Properties sponsored the screening of “A Special Journey” microfilm at Ng Yuk Secondary School to promote social inclusion, allowing the students to learn about the talents and the steadfast determination of persons with disabilities.
The microfilm produced by Fu Hong Society used the true story as its blueprint. The contents were edited to describe a woman with mild intellectual disabilities, but kept a positive attitude, and under the support of social worker and the Fu Hong Society to overcome the difficulties, and eventually exhibited her talents in her work, moved into inclusive Housing. The microfilm not only reveals the difficulties and needs of persons with disabilities, but also highlights their unique talents and resilience.
